Garage Doors

G. H. Chambers deal with the main UK garage manufacturers such as Hormann, Garador, Henderson and Gliderol. They have a comprehensive set of brochures available to help you select the perfect match for your requirements all at very competitive trade prices.

With many years of installation and maintenance their experienced team of installers pay a high level of attention to detail ensuring your new garage door project runs smoothly.

They supply a wide variety of door types including sectional doors, roller doors and traditional up and over doors, in a variety of materials, including steel, timber and GRP, with a complete range of standard and special sizes and colours. Door operation remote control is a common requirement and is available on all our products along with a range of other innovative extra features.

Up and over garage doors

Traditional up and over garage doors are made from timber, steel or glass reinforced polyester (GRP). Each of these three materials has its own benefits: steel up and over doors are robust and give great value for money; timber doors are well insulated and have an appealing look, while GRP up and over garage doors are extremely low maintenance offering a timber effect without the maintenance of real wood, which makes them a perfect long term solution.

Sectional garage doors

Sectional garage doors have many benefits over traditional up and over doors. Where limited drive space is a problem, sectional garage doors are the perfect choice as they open and shut vertically, allowing cars to park within inches of the door without impairing functionality. Sectional doors do not take up as much room when opened. This leaves more height in the garage, making them a popular choice for 4x4s and other tall cars.

Sectional doors fit anywhere, no matter whether your garage opening is rectangular or chamfered, or has a segmental or a Norman arch. Therefore, they are ideally suited for subsequent modernization.

Roller door

The roller garage door provides plenty of space in front of and inside the garage. You can drive directly up to the door for parking and the ceiling area of the garage remains available.
