Chambers employees are one of their key strengths and a cornerstone of the business.
They significantly contribute to Chambers being the company that it is today. They support plans for future growth and the company is conscious of the need to attract, retain and reward the best employees. They work hard to develop their staff, as they in turn help Chambers to develop their business. They believe that if their staff are satisfied and well rewarded, then the company is better placed for progression and success.
All the joiners are time served craftsmen and hold the relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card as proof of their skills and health and safety awareness.
Each year Chambers runs a joinery apprenticeship training scheme in conjunction with Construction Skills. This ensures that their workforce is continually being regenerated by staff who are trained to the highest available standard from their time of entry into the industry. All of their apprentices are trained to at least NVQ Level 3. A key aspect of their apprenticeships is giving the opportunities to young people to learn from the more experienced work force who can pass on their skills.
